Senior DevOps Engineer with SRE focus (m/f/d)

We have now started an all-new team to build the next generation in the cloud. We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer to join us at our beautiful office in Urbar, near Koblenz, in a former monastery. Your responsibilities
Our software operates with high availability in a real-time environment, requiring you to solve complex problems in an efficient manner
Full service deployment and operations
Work closely with other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into systems architecture for high availability cluster operations
Investigate production issues together with development to find the root cause of customer problems
Improve processes for the team
Requirements
Proven track record in operations
Excellent knowledge in automation using languages or tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform or similar tools
Excellent knowledge with hyperscaler technologies including AWS
Excellent knowledge in deployment automation and infrastructure as code
Decent knowledge building CI/CD pipelines including container image builds (e.g. Docker)
Solid experience in container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) including helm charts.
Experience using revision control, issue tracking, and agile development
High attention to detail and a strong desire to continually improve
Willingness to work with customers for efficient and quick turnovers
Practical experience in debugging production issues and diving into log files to diagnose difficult problems
Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
