Junior Software Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a software developer to join us at our beautiful office in Urbar, near Koblenz, in a former monastery. We are expected to process thousands of transactions within milliseconds to detect and stop fraudulent activity before a transaction is completed.

Your responsibilities

  • High availability and operating in a real-time environment requires you to solve complex problems in an efficient manner 

  • Execute full software development lifecycle

  • Work closely with other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into software designs for a high availability cluster solution

  • Integrate new features into a fully functional software system

  • Build and debug complex systems in a collaborative team environment

 

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or similar

  • Good knowledge in object-oriented programming (C++/Java) and/or knowledge in JavaScript or Python

  • Basic knowledge in revision control, issue tracking and agile development

  • Basic Linux knowledge

  • High attention to detail and a strong desire to continually improve

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
