Technical Specialist - Payment Fraud Prevention (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Work in a customer-facing pre-sales and consulting role with clients at different levels from leadership to technical teams

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of state-of-the-art fraud prevention systems

  • Analyze functional and business requirements and develop a solution architecture

  • Advice clients and business partners in the integration of our fraud prevention solution into their existing system landscape

  • Design solutions for highest performance and availability as well as adhering to security requirements

  • Provide the technical foundation to create and optimize fraud detection models using modern AI technology

  • Train and support our clients and business partners worldwide

  • Define and specify new requirements and features for our products and services

Requirements

  • College or University degree in Math, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Passionate about working in an international team to deliver success for our clients

  • Ability to clearly communicate and articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Exceptional analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent understanding in solution architecture, integration concepts and technologies

  • Experience with large-scale real-time messaging systems as well as synchronous (REST, Web Services) and asynchronous (MQ, Kafka) event processing

  • Knowledge about network protocols (such as TCP/IP, HTTP), data formats (XML, JSON) and security (Encryption, SSL)

  • Comfortable with navigation in Unix/Linux environments

  • Practical coding experience and strong skills in Python


  • Experience in the payment and/or fraud prevention industry is advantageous

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
